Back to School: What SFLA Can Provide to You This Fall!

Dear Pro-Life Student,

Thank you for you standing up for Life on your campus and your commitment to save the unborn and help their mothers. I know being a full-time student, maybe working on the side, and then being active in your pro-life group can be challenging at times. As a not so former student, I remember those times staying up until 2:00am creating flyers for our pro-life group and then just starting on my assigned reading.

I know you already know this, but what you do on campus has a huge impact, one that saves lives and spreads the pro-life message exponentially. Every person you reach with our pro-life message is one person who then can help spread your message and save lives. Even if you never meet a woman who decides not to have an abortion because of what you have done, please know she is out there.

Everyday you are on campus, I can almost guarantee you that at least one young woman is scared and thinking abortion is her only option.

And everyday you do something to spread our pro-life message that all life is precious and that abortion is not the only option, you can save a Life.

Because you are so busy, your Students for Life of America (SFLA) is here to help you make this year your most effective on campus. Here is a small list of something things SFLA can assist you with and provide for you this year:
  • One-on-One support to provide answers to questions, help planning events, and general advice. Email us at info@studentsforlife.org anytime to be connected with a SFLA Field Director who can help you and your group thrive via e-mail, phone, and personal visits for on-campus trainings.
  • A campus activism workbook available to you to help you start and revive your group.
  • Monthly teleconferences with pro-life leaders to help provide you with leadership training and activism ideas.
  • Event guides for over 30 things you can do on your campus online and new event ideas every month on this e-mail newsletter!
  • Prizes for your group.
  • Weekly e-mails with news you should know and activism ideas for your group.
  • Weekend trainings in activism, fundraising, media, and group development at multiple statewide Students for Life events.

And here are some resources we will be releasing for you this semester:
  • Our Pro-Life Strategy Handbook which will provide you with all the strategy you need to keep your group relevant on campus!
  • Pro-Life Book Club
  • Various pro-life contests with cash prizes.
  • Pro-Life Leaders Program
  • Law Students for Life outreach program
  • A new poster campaign in conjunction with Human Life Alliance to help you recruit new members

In addition, if you don't have a group on your campus or don't know if you are part of SFLA's resource network, e-mail us now so we can make travel plans to meet with you!

For Life,

Kristan Hawkins
