- I do not think I could make it I work the graveyard shift and because I do not drive (I have phobia of driving) that it would be difficult to meet up there. I am very upset with the fact I cannot come and finally meet up with someone. :(

I go to Union University in Jackson TN, and will be finishing my last year of nursing school this coming fall. I think you interviewed the president of our group (Raina Shultz) and myself a few months ago. We ended up doing the chalking you suggested and got a lot of questions and interest before the rain washed away all 3300 hearts that weekend. :(

How are you doing? The pictures of your little boy on facebook are just too cute!
I am doing ok, taking it easy this summer for health reasons (also the reason I wasn't able to make it to this past conference :-( I heard it was great though.)
Just so you know I'm planning on staying very involved in the pro-life movement, but will be taking a more of the behind the scenes role. This is not only for health reasons but because I'm now a senior. I want to make sure things get passed on, and I'm starting to really hit crunch time with courses. Don't worry though, I don't see myself as ever leaving the pro-life action. If things work out after I graduate I will be even more active than before. I haven't decided though whether it will be the front-lines, or behind the scenes. :-)

Sherly Jourdain said… - Hi Kristan! I've been up to quite a few things. I've been getting involved in local politics. I'm really involved with the Rockland County Young Republicans and I helped conducted three voter registration drives with one of our town Legislators. My friend is running for Legislator of his town this fall, so I'll helping him with his campaign along with a couple of others. I was recently appointed Secretary of the Haverstraw Republican Committee, so I'll be at our second meeting on Thursday. And I have some other projects coming up in regards politics.
With school, I'll be taking the LSAT exam on Sept. 26th for Law School, so I'll be preparing for that over the summer. My top two choices are GWU and American U. I really want to move to DC so I hope (and pray) that will work out well.
I'm still working on my book project with my pro-abortion friend. I interviewed Dr. Honeycutt (a pro-life doctor who ran for Congress in the last congressional race but unfortunately lost) over the phone and I plan on approaching Alveda King for the project as well.
As far as a job is concern...that's been rough. I'm currently working temporarily for Dunkin' Donuts but my last day will be this Friday. They changed my schedule to 2-10PM and that doesn't mesh well with my lifestyle at all.
I have other things that I've been doing but I'll stop here. How's your son doing though? :) I can see that Students for Life is doing well. I really miss my internship with you guys last summer!
