I worry that the group cannot being. I am unsure what to do. Certainly I just need to work on it. I am going to get involve with the local respect for life groups here in Central Ohio area and hopefully with their help and here I will somehow do alright and get it started. Continue

Nikita Phillips Slow starting.

Hello everybody. I certainly say I should be writing in here more often then not. Much has happened since my last time on here, that was before Summer started. One of the first things I would like to mention is July 22nd, 2009 the president of the group, who is my best friend and godmother, left for the convent to keep with her vocation. This left it to be me as the president. I am currently not in touch with the suprvisor and yet I still want to run this group. So, right now before school begin… Continue

Michelle Perjak Starting High School Students for Life Programs in Southwest Illinois

I am working with the director of a local crisis pregnancy center to start student-led pro-life groups at public and private high schools in southwest Illinois. At the center's recent annual fundraising banquet, the request for volunteers was overwhelming. We are having our first organizational meeting on April 28th, and I am very grateful for the April 21st conference call. We hope to start groups as early as Fall 2009. Continue

Choose Life! It will be all right Choose Life! We’ll be by your side. Chorus: There is hope and grace for every soul From the very first day There is beauty in every child So let’s rejoice and smile. And give every life in the womb The right to be born and to live There is plenty of love and room/ loving people to help you with the Truth No need to be afraid We’re with you all the way, Choose life! Verse I: You can give the greatest gift of life Even if it’s not what we expected. Everything… Continue

Shannon Elizabeth "Restoring Lives Laws," a poem I wrote, I hope you enjoy.

Restoring Lives Laws God has made a choice to touch this world with life. Yet, our choice in response has been to condemn His precious blessings to the knife. What have they done, to acquire such a fate? Simply their being alive, and their silent state. There is no trial in these souls defense, only a signature in ink to express these lives rejection; ceiling their sentence. The True Judge above, cradles every infant soul. The souls we have given him back, as he asks, “ Why have you a… Continue

Erik Whittington VIDEO: Casting Crowns pro-life song

The Casting Crowns recently released a Christmas album, Peace On Earth. One of the songs on the CD, While You Were Sleeping has a strong pro-life message in it. Check it out.

United States of America
Looks like another silent night
As we're sung to sleep by philosophies
That save the trees and kill the children
Boy isn't that the truth.… Continue

Malori Fuchs Eduardo Verastegui "Obama Must See"

Here is a video by Eduardo Verastegui, the main actor in "Bella" and an active pro-lifer. **WARNING: THERE ARE MANY GRAPHIC IMAGES OF ABORTED BABIES IN THIS VIDEO** If you want to skip the actual abortion part, you can watch the first part (Eduardo speaking and then images of live, unborn babies) and then skip to the last part, where Eduardo gives statistics about Obama's rabidly pro-abortion beliefs and record. Follow this link and then the video is on the right side (there isn't a way to emb… Continue

Malori Fuchs October 28th Conference Call

Hey SFLA leaders, I would really like to join in the conference call tomorrow night, but I have a school commitment during that time. Are these conference calls archived somehow? (I know other pro-life organizations that record them and put them online for people to listen to after it happens.) I would love to be able to hear what was shared! Thanks! ~Malori :) Continue

Erik Whittington The election will not change a thing

For those of you not living under a rock, you know that the U.S. is about to elect a new president on November 4th. Abortion has been a big issue in the campaign, but that leads us to worry that many Americans are viewing it as just that - an issue. Abortion is not just an issue, and its not just a talking point; its not just a way to score votes, and its not a way to r… Continue

Today I released this statement to the press:
